I hope you are ready for underwater adventure! Put on your thinking caps and lets begin our fun activities!

 1.  The following links will lead you to places where you can see pictures and read some information about all of the neat things that live underneath the deep blue sea! Explore a few of the sites to get a start on your sea adventure! Dont forget to take a few notes like all really smart researchers do to help you remember what all you see and read about!

 2. Now that you have done your research, it's time to put on your painting apron! Using the watercolor paints provided by your teacher, create your very own sea world! Be creative and paint some of the different animals you saw and some animals that YOU know live in the sea. Don't forget to paint seaweed for the sea animals to eat and homes for any of your sea creatures that may need a place to sleep! Here are some links to pictures to help you get started!

3. Now that you have completed your beautiful under sea painting, there's a little something more for you to do that goes with it! What if a scubadiver wanted to go diving in YOUR painting? What would he see? What does he need to know about the sea creatures! It is now your job to create a guide for this scubadiver! Here are some idea of what you should put in your guide!
    A. What kind of sea creatures will the scubadiver see?
    B. What do the sea creatures eat?
    C. Are some of the sea creatures dangerous?

4. Are you ready for another art project!? Next, using materials provided by your teacher such as empty paper towel rolls, plastic wrap, string, cardboard, markers and whatever else your teacher has for you, make your very own scubadiving mask! Here is a link to a photo of what a real scuba diving mask looks like! How close can you make yours to look like this one?

5. Now that you have completed your research and created an under sea adventure for Mr. Scuba Diver, it's time to share all of your hard work with your classmates! Each of you take turns to show and tell your peers about your underwater adventure. Show them your picture and tell them about what you wrote in your guide for the scuba diver! And the best part of all, you get to wear your really cool, home-made scuba diving mask while you share with your friends! Take a look under the "evaluation tab" before you present to make sure you talk about everything that you are supposed to!

6. I'm sure you are tired from all of your hard work and research, but there is one more thing to do!! A tongue-twister! Do you know what a tongue twister is? It is alot of words that sound almost the same that are put together. Sometimes, a tongue twister can be really hard to sya becuase the words are so alike! You are supposed to say the tongue twister as many times as you can without messing up! As a class, try this fun tongue twister:

I went to the bottom of the sea sea,
To see what I could see see see.
But all that I could see see see,
Was the bottom of the deep blue sea sea!!
